We met Raya Ani in the middle of industrial Bushwick twirling the skeleton of an umbrella and wearing a dress made from what she had pillaged from its now-naked body. We have all seen the aftermath of a windy rainstorm in the city; the sidewalks are littered with umbrella corpses, all of them abandoned.
